APT’s CNC workshop is in operation 24/7, working around the clock. Our CNC turning and milling machines manufacture products of the highest quality and are constantly audited for maximum efficiency.
AS 9100 and ISO 9001 accreditations
Quality control is fundamental to the way that APT operates. All aspects of our manufacturing processes are monitored to maintain the exacting high standards of the AS 9100 and ISO 9001 accreditations that we hold, giving our customers confidence in the quality of our precision turned and CNC milled parts.
As a supplier to the aerospace industry for over 15 years, APT must be compliant with the globally adopted AS 9100 quality and risk management system. This is a common standard that governs every part of production.
Every machine at APT is linked to a live system which monitors the shop floor and provides real time status updates to screens positioned throughout our factory. These can also be accessed remotely, and are backed up and archived for complete product traceability – from the source of raw materials, the accuracy of our technical models, through to the delivery of the finished components.
Each project is managed by one engineer who is responsible for programming, setting, monitoring, finishing and checking. By doing this, we have built a team that works on the principle of accountability. All our products are subjected to a meticulous final inspection before they leave the premises to ensure that they reach our customers in perfect condition.
Our ISO 9001 accreditation is integral to APT’s focus on exceeding customers’ expectations. We are continually improving our production methods and creating a good working relationship with all our clients.
Both AS 9100 and ISO 9001 have always been a part of APT’s ethos and we maintain these standards through our commitment to quality control, investment in new technologies and the training of each, and every member of our team.
“Working with APT is simple – they are professional, easy to work with and produce top quality products.”
